Buyers in quarry, aggregate, and mining work should define whether the screen handles dry stone, wet ore, coal, or recycled material. The opening may look right on paper, but service life depends on abrasion level, impact load, and how the screen deck is tensioned in the machine.

Wire diameter and crimp pattern work together

Intermediate crimp, lock crimp, and flat-top structures each behave differently under vibration. Heavier wire improves wear life but also changes open area and panel weight. Good RFQs state opening, wire diameter, panel size, hook type, and whether the mesh must fit an existing vibrating screen.

Edge treatment and replacement logic affect downtime

• Confirm hook edge style, reinforcement strip, and panel tolerance.
• Match material choice to corrosion and abrasion exposure.
• Request packing that prevents bent hooks and mixed-size bundles.
