Buyers use black wire cloth in screening, milling, and certain dry material applications where strong wear behavior and cost control matter. It is not a corrosion-resistant product, so the service environment has to be understood before comparing it with galvanized or stainless alternatives.

Wire hardness and opening stability matter more than appearance

For screening duty, the buyer should focus on abrasion level, impact load, and how long the cloth must hold its opening under vibration. A lower-cost cloth that distorts early can create more downtime than a stronger option with better wear behavior.
