Galvanizing routes are not interchangeable

Electro galvanized products usually offer a cleaner appearance and lower cost, but hot-dip galvanized products provide heavier zinc coverage and better outdoor durability. If the product is for long-term exterior use, buyers should ask how the galvanizing process is applied and what coating expectation is realistic.

Coated and stainless options solve different problems

PVC-coated or powder-coated mesh may be selected for color, extra barrier protection, or specific project appearance. Stainless steel solves corrosion at the material level and is often preferred for filtration, food-related, or harsher environments where coating damage would be risky.
