Before-weld galvanizing is common for cost-sensitive orders

Galvanized-before-welding mesh is made from pre-galvanized wire. It is often competitive on price and suitable for applications where full post-weld coating continuity is not the main concern.

After-weld galvanizing covers the weld area better

Galvanized-after-welding products usually provide stronger corrosion protection at the welded intersections because the complete panel or roll is coated after welding. This route is often preferred for longer outdoor life.

Specify the route clearly in the RFQ

• Do not write only "galvanized welded mesh".
• State GBW or GAW, expected environment, and packing format.
• Confirm zinc expectation if the project is corrosion-sensitive.

That single clarification prevents many coating disputes after production.
