Panel size should match how the mesh will be stacked, loaded, and installed. Large panels reduce field joints, but they also affect pallet size, container loading, and unloading equipment. Buyers should balance installation efficiency with export handling cost.
Aperture alone does not define strength. For the same opening, heavier wire changes panel weight, weld heat, and flatness control. Construction reinforcement, machine guards, and partitions often require different wire-to-opening ratios even when panel size looks similar.
Some applications accept overhang wire edges, while others need trimmed edges for safety or framing. Tolerance on overall width and length also matters when panels fit posts, channels, or fabricated assemblies.
A complete size request gives suppliers enough information to quote realistic production and packing costs.
