Vibrating Screen Hook Types: What Buyers Should Confirm Before Ordering

Review hook edge shape, reinforcement, fitting width, and panel tension details before buying hook-type screening mesh.

Hook detail can stop a good screen panel from fitting the machine

Buyers often focus on aperture and wire diameter first, but vibrating screen panels fail at installation when hook angle, width, reinforcement strip, or overall panel tension logic is wrong. Hook style is not a minor accessory detail. It is part of the screen system.

Machine compatibility should be confirmed before production

Different screen decks require different hook shapes, bending radius, and side reinforcement. Buyers should send the machine drawing, old panel sample, or at least the hook profile with the panel size and screen type. Without that, the supplier may guess incorrectly.

Ask for dimensional control at the hook area

  • Confirm hook shape, inside width, panel length, and tension direction.
  • State whether the panel uses polyurethane strip, metal reinforcement, or bare hook edge.
  • Check packing so hooks do not deform during transport.

The cheapest panel becomes expensive when it does not fit the vibrating screen on the first installation attempt.
